The Green Hornets' Track and Field Program is available for both boys and girls between the ages of five and fourteen. Registration for this program takes place during the summer/fall registration period. Registration will close once we have met capacity.

Our coaching staff is comprised of several parental volunteers and several current/former members of the local area high school track teams. This program is entirely local in format. That is, all meets are held amongst registered players in the Green Hornets' Track & Field Program.

SEASON: The track & field program is a six-week program, from mid-June through July (usually 6 weeks). All practices and meets will be held at the Severna Park High School Track. Practices are held three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Season is highlighted by four meets on the final four Fridays of the season from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Additionally, during the regularly scheduled practice times there will be a hurdles meet, and there will be a relay meet. All meets are subject to cancellation due to not having enough parent volunteers to run the meet so please volunteer when you can.
